Reinhardt Home Heating was founded in September 1937 when Earl D. Reinhardt came to Oneonta from Syracuse, NY. For many years Earl Reinhardt operated the business offering superior service to his customers and earning the great reputation we are so proud of today.

Over the years, the world has changed and we have grown with it. Today we serve over 4000 customers and offer many more products and services that in the old days. Like our founder, we value personalized service, safety above all else, and are committed to quality. Family owned and locally operated, we will always strive to do our best for each and every customer, while being a good neighbor in the communities we serve.

President

The current president of Reinhardt Home Heating is Daniel Mattice. Dan has long-standing ties to both the Oneonta area and the home comfort and energy industry. From delivery to sales, from service to safety, Mattice is well versed in all aspects of the business. “I am a hands-on person, and want each customer to feel well cared for and trust we have their home comfort needs covered.”

Dan serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Upstate New York Energy Association (UNYEA), Board member of the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA), and serves on the Rotary Club of Oneonta’s Board of Directors. He is a proud father and husband with deep roots in the community.

We are also proud of our Mini-Marts, Reinhardt Mini-Mart in Richmondville, NY and The Center in Worcester, NY. Here you will find everything you need for that quick stop: gasoline, coffee, groceries, cold beer, and delicious food from our deli, always served with a smile.
