Reinhardt Home Heating was founded in September 1937 when Earl D. Reinhardt came to Oneonta from Syracuse, NY. For many years Earl Reinhardt operated the business offering superior service to his customers and earning the great reputation we are so proud of today.

Over the years, the world has changed and we have grown with it. Today we serve over 3500 customers and offer many more products and services than in the old days. Like our founder, we value personalized service, and safety above all else, and are committed to quality. Family-owned and locally operated, we will always strive to do our best for every customer, while being a good neighbor in the communities we serve.

President

The current president of Reinhardt Home Heating is Benjamin Brockert. Before coming to work here, Ben served in the United States Army as a paratrooper and small utility equipment repairer. After two tours in Iraq, he returned to the USA.

After joining Reinhardt’s in 2015, Ben quickly became a clinch player on our team. Skilled and gregarious, Ben started as a Service Technician and then was promoted to Service Department Manager. Now, as President of Reinhardt Home Heating, Ben is looking forward to expanding his responsibilities and continuing his service to our customers.

In addition to being a natural leader in our organization, Ben is dedicated to his family and community. Whether volunteering to coach his daughter’s soccer team, helping a neighbor, or working on his place, Ben is always ready to lend a hand and bring good cheer to those around him.
