Reinhardt Home Heating was founded in September 1937 when Earl D. Reinhardt came to Oneonta from Syracuse. For 20 years Earl Reinhardt operated the business offering superior service to his customers.
The current president of Reinhardt Home Heating is David Harder. Dave joined Reinhardt Home Heating in 1973. He was instrumental in purchasing a number of local petroleum businesses and merging them with Reinhardt Home Heating to create a better, stronger and more responsive company.
Reinhardt Home Heating is proud of its service to the area. Its many long term employees are a testament to its dedication to a high standard of integrity, principles, and values.
A lot has changed since the early days of Reinhardt Home Heating. We have grown from a few hundred customers to over 5,000. We now offer a burner service department available to our customers 24/7, 365 days a year. We have added other products like propane gas, high efficiency heating equipment, and water filtration products. While we may grow and expand our business, we have never forgotten our roots of providing superior service to all our customers.
